Natural Remedies for Infertility
Mike Matthews, Author and Editor of Shared Care - Google+ Profile
What is Infertility
Fertility issues are considered to occur when there is an inability to conceive a child after two years of trying to do so. This is termed infertility.
This is a problem that requires full medical assessment and backup before complementary therapies are tried.Infertility falls into two categories, primary infertility and secondary infertility.
Primary Infertiity
Primary infertiity occurs when neither partner has achieved a pregnancy with any partner. This might indicate that there is some physiological problem with one or both. There may be ovulatory problems with the woman, a low sperm count in the man, or a chlamydial infection in either or both.
Secondary Infertility
Secondary Infertility is present when either partner has had one or more pregnancy with a previous partner. This would then suggest that if there was a physiological problem that it lay with other partner although that might not necessarily be true. For example a postnatal womb infection in the woman may have damaged the ability to conceive, where previously fertility was normal.

What Helps Infertility?
Infertility's Emotional Impact
Infertility, a disease that affects 50-80 million worldwide, can be shattering and challenges in ways large and small. This video aspires to capture the emotional roller coaster. Treatment success rates are low, which is why infertility is not something that people get over, it becomes something to come to terms with.

Infertility Treatment
Medication
The treatments vary from simple hormone stimulation drugs such as Clomid to in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with reimplantation of the embryo. They are time consuming, costly and regrettably rather uncertain, although there have been great improvements in the whole process and outcomes latterly.
