What are Toddler Care Problems?
Toddler Care Problems
Toddlers show an acceleration in the changes that began with birth and these will concern the whole family from parents to big brother and granny. The toddler now becomes mobile and inquisitive then will crawl, toddle and walk. Security and such things as stair gates and safety of cleaning fluids and drugs become a major concern. Toddlers will be beginning to talk and interact with their peers and family and can demonstrate anger sufficiently severe enough to require professional intervention.
Health Issues
Health problems hidden when the baby is not moving about may become apparent at this stage in life. Cradle cap should disappear but eczema in the elbows and behind the knees may appear, as may learning difficulties (developmental difficulties) of slow onset and some of the more insidious inherited diseases. This is a time when issues of stature, either shortness or tallness also become apparent.

Language for Learning: Infants and Toddlers
This video illustrates the role of the teacher in using language to support children's development. The interactions you will see include positive language, expansion, questioning, and redirection. Teachers use these techniques to expand children's knowledge, encourage complex thinking and problem solving skills, and help children develop appropriate behavior and positive social skills.
